About MUDP

The aim of the Environmental Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (MUDP) is to promote the development and application of new sustainable and environmental solutions that can solve a large number of prioritised environmental challenges in Denmark. In addition, it is a prerequisite that they simultaneously support Danish growth and employment. Since 2008, MUDP has supported over 600 projects with approx. 1 billion DKK.

MUDP therefore supports the development, testing and demonstration of environmental technology and the primary focus is water, waste and soil. 

Projects funded by MUDP can range from small-scale demonstration projects to larger-scale initiatives. The program supports a wide range of activities, including research and development, pilot projects, testing and demonstration of technologies, and the collection of data and documentation for environmental technologies.

Moreover, it often involves partnerships between these stakeholders to ensure the effective transfer of knowledge and the successful implementation of innovative environmental solutions.
