About EUDP

The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP) supports Danish, green and innovative energy projects that can contribute to Denmark's goal of 70 % CO2 reduction in 2030 and climate neutrality in 2050. In addition, EUDP helps to promote the utilisation and development of business potentials that benefit the of growth and employment in Denmark.

Grants are given to both companies and universities and there is no specific amount limit for support. EUDP has previously supported small as well as large projects up to DKK +50 million.

Energy technologies are broadly defined and cover, for example:

* Renewable energy technologies

* Energy saving technologies

* Conversion technologies (fuel cell and hydrogen)

* Integration of energy systems including storage

* More efficient methods of replacing oil and gas and storing CO2, etc.
