Making an end to the increasing inactivity of children
Children quickly outgrow and lose interest in a bunch of toys as they generally are characterised by a narrow age span and low developmental adaptability. Moreover, digital platforms are taking over...
Two young entrepreneurs, however, wanted to stamp out the inactivity of children by designing innovative, sustainable and long-lasting toy module solutions. They came up with the idea while studying at the Technical University of Denmark and wrote their master thesis about it. It came down to the concept of MODU - the toy that allows children to build their own functioning creations promoting their physical activity and stimulating their motoric development throughout the childhood.
Looking For Soft Funding to Progress
To further develop MODU, the two founders needed soft funding from Danish programmes and Nordic Innovators helped them in this process by identifying relevant grant opportunities. Therefore, we assisted MODU with, among others, a successful Innobooster application.
We are very happy with our collaboration with Nordic Innovators. We appreciate our constructive discussions, their professional feedback which also has led to several successful project applications.
