Get Success With Grand Solutions 

If you have an ambitious and interdisciplinary research and innovation project, the Grand Solutions programme is worth having a closer look at - if your project also contributes to concrete solutions to important societal challenges that are a political priority and provides value to Denmark.

In 2025, Grand Solutions will focus on the following 6 themes:

How to Apply for Support

To facilitate the application process and ensure a more transparent assessment of the projects, the Grand Solutions programme is divided into two phases: The first phase contains a significantly shorter application - a so-called "letter of interest". The best rated projects are selected to develop a full application, which is phase 2. This will mean a faster evaluation and a higher success rate for the 2 projects. 

Deadline

Phase 1 closes for applications on 19 March 2025
Phase 2 - if your project is selected, phase 2 applications will open on 23 May 2025 and close on 19 August 2025.

Responses to phase 2 are expected in November 2025.
