About the speakers
Félix Urbain, Dr.-Ing.
Nordic Innovators P/S
Dr. Félix Urbain, a partner and team lead at Nordic Innovators and a distinguished expert in renewable energy, holds a PhD in Renewable Energy Conversion and Storage as well as an MSc in Business Management and Economics. With his former research team, Félix set a new efficiency record for Solar-to-Hydrogen conversion using cost-effective photovoltaic materials. At Nordic Innovators, he plays a key role in CINEA’s EU Innovation Fund programme.
Félix's interdisciplinary background in Green Tech encompasses both doctoral and post-doctoral work in Materials Science and Renewable Energy, alongside a comprehensive education in Business, Management, and Economics. He authored the secondary school teaching book “Clean Fuels” and has extensive experience in drafting proposals for international research programmes, with a particular focus on large-scale industrial projects. His specialization includes project development and proposal preparation in renewable energy, photovoltaics, battery technologies, carbon capture, hydrogen production, biofuels, and diverse technology areas from optoelectronics to metallurgy. Additionally, Félix serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for Climate and Nature-related Finance at Spuerkeess (Luxembourg).
