Relevant funding programmes for Renewable Energy
Focus is on innovative low-carbon technologies and processes in energy intensive industries with the objective of launching industrial solutions to decarbonise Europe and support its transition to climate neutrality. For all projects sizes, applicants can get up to 60% of the total project capital expenditure.
Connecting Europe Facility (CEF)
A key deliver to the European Green Deal and a EU's decarbonization objectives for 2030 and 2050. With a total budget of €20.73 billion for 2021-2027, the CEF drives economic growth and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment supporting the development of the trans-European networks.
LIFE offers new grant opportunities and is the EU's flagship funding programme that supports climate and environment actions. The 2024 Calls for proposals are now open. Horizon Europe Cluster 5
Cluster 5 is dedicated to accelerating Europe’s green and digital transitions, driving economic, industrial, and societal transformation towards achieving climate neutrality by 2050. This includes the energy and mobility sectors to greenhouse gas neutrality alongside supporting other sectors.
The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme supports Danish green energy innovations, supporting research tied to development projects. EUDP funds projects to help Denmark cut emissions by 70% by 2030 with focus on green electricity, energy efficiency, heavy transport, and Power-to-X. Available funding in 2025 is set to DKK 543 million.
Grand Solutions projects are high-risk, aiming for ambitious outcomes that drive new knowledge, growth, employment, and societal solutions in Denmark. The projects involve collaboration among companies, universities, and research institutions, covering stages from research to implementation. Projects typically receive DKK 5-30 million in grants and last 2-5 years.
