Apply for the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF)
The CEF is a key EU funding programme in delivering the European Green Deal and plays an important role in achieving the EU's decarbonization objectives for 2030 and 2050.
With a total budget of €20.73 billion for 2021-2027, the CEF drives economic growth, job creation and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at European Level by supporting the development of the trans-European networks.
Two Main Project Types Eligible for Funding

Studies: Preparatory activities required to determine if and how a project should proceed.

Works: Construction and implementation of the infrastructure.
Financial Support: 50 %* of the cost actually incurred (* 70% for Outermost regions)

CEF Energy
CEF Energy aligns with the Trans-European Networks for Energy (TEN-E) policy, and aims to enhance the energy infrastructure across EU by supporting projects that promote a more interconnected, intelligent and digitalized energy system. Deadline: 16 January 2025 & Q4 (date not confirmed)
CEF Transport
CEF Transport supports innovation in the transport system in order to improve the use of infrastructure, reduce the environmental impact of transport, enhance energy efficiency and increase safety - paving the way for a greener environment.

CEF Digital
CEF Digital aims to enhance the capacity and resilience of digital backbone infrastructure across all EU region, in particular the Outermost Regions. Moreover, it focuses on saving and securing Gigabit and 5G, among other critical infrastructures.
