About EIC Accelerator
It supports startups and high-risk and high-potential SMEs which are willing to develop and commercialise new products, services and business models that drive economic growth and shape new markets or disrupt existing ones in Europe and worldwide.
EIC Accelerator is open to innovations in any field of technology and supports the later stages of technology development (>TRL5) as well as scale up.
Grant funding of up to €2.5 million and equity investment of up to €15 million are available to support the development and scaling-up of European high risk innovations!
In addition, they are offered business coaching and mentoring to scale up their innovation idea and get extra acceleration services to connect with investors, corporates and likeminded entrepreneurs.

New Approach
EIC Accelerator is a very popular funding programme with an increased number of applicants. Therefore, to increase the success rate, a new application process is arranged according to 3 main stages with “Go/No Go” evaluations from each stage:
- Short proposal (incl. 5-pages, 3 min video & pitch-deck) which is continually evaluated.
- Full proposal (if short proposal is favourable) including detailed information and a business plan
- Interview.
Deadline
- Short proposal: Apply anytime
- Full proposal: 3 October 2024
- Interviews: Take place approx. 8-9 weeks after the cut-off dates.
