X-Drive Robots Disrupts
the Concept of Building Robots
Horse riding and robots are not usually linked together. Nevertheless, a special robot, developed by the Danish technology company, X-Drive Robots will soon make an entrance to the many riding halls in Europe.
X-Drive Robots has already concentrated lots of attention not least from Innovation Denmark as they got an Innobooster grant for their breakthrough product, a fully automated and multi-functional robot that can prepare and maintain riding arenas.
X-Drive Robots Ensures Easier Maintenance
Riding arenas are expensive; therefore, maintenance every day is very important. Riding arenas must be trimmed, levelled and drummed to be ready again for the horses the next day. This takes time and efforts as it is today.
However, the new X-Drive Robot, which has the same size as a little car, will make this process easier. It uses the latest ultrasound navigation systems and 4x4 wheel drive to manoeuvre in all types of weather and all environments. Moreover, the robot will save manpower and work off-hours.
As there are approx. 68,000 indoor riding halls in Europe, there is a big potential for X-Drive Robots. And this is only the first step… X-Drive Robots foresee that it can replace many more expensive but nevertheless, repeated tasks, e.g., the maintenance of artificial turf for football.
We look forward to following X-Drive Robots on their exiting journey and to continuing our good collaboration when more soft funding opportunities come their way.
