Wind Energy for the Win
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) is a global leader in renewable energy and has for several years been a trusted client of Nordic Innovators. Our consultants have both assisted Siemens Gamesa’s large scale EU projects, and for Danish national programmes such as The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme, EUDP.
16,65 million DKK for ALMA
The ALMA project won DKK16,65 million as one of the winners of EUDP within wind and green energy in 2022. The ALMA project focuses on automating lay-up processes for manufacturing wind turbine blades. It was initiated in 2023 and is expected to end in 2026. By introducing advanced automation and robotics, the project aims to enhance production efficiency, ensure consistent quality, and reduce costs in blade manufacturing. The development of these innovative solutions for large-scale wind turbine production has been made possible through collaboration with Broetje-Automation, the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). These advancements are expected to support Denmark’s position as a leader in sustainable energy technologies.
Driving Green Innovation
The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program (EUDP) supports the development and demonstration of new energy technologies that contribute to Denmark's green transition. The programme focuses on promoting projects that reduce CO₂ emissions, increase energy efficiency, and create green jobs. In 2022, approximately DKK 500 million were allocated to EUDP to support innovative energy projects.
Nordic Innovators provided a full-service application writing for the ALMA project in close collaboration with SGRE. This project is just one of many green projects that our consultants has helped SGRE with in getting funding.
We are specialised in green and clean energy funding, and we will be happy to assist you with your project.
