Easier Transit for Travelers

Since 2014, Exruptive has been developing an innovative integrated solution for the optimisation of the security- and commercial experience of travellers in international airports offering improved security at lower cost, better flow and increased revenue and efficiency in airport commercial areas.  

Exruptive is behind a complete reimagining of the hand luggage security process eliminating the need to unpack sophisticated electronics and liquids when going through security. At the same time, the new security systems will also ensure improved identification and location of restricted items and minimising the need for manual checks. To achieve this, the company has developed the Exruptive multi-energy X-ray scanner, which was undergoing final factory testing to confirm the excellent lab-results and reach a state where operational testing could take place.  

Winner of an Innobooster Grant

Nordic Innovators helped Exruptrive to obtain the Innobooster grant to enhance their highly innovative detection software by utilising a series of deep learning algorithms. These algorithms enable automated object and material recognition, localisation, and segmentation of objects in hand luggage to identify any type of concealed item from the multi -energy images produced by the scanner.
