New Eureka Network Projects Call

Eureka Circular Value Creation 2025
- A Smart Opportunity for Sustainable Innovators
If your business is developing sustainable solutions or rethinking how products and materials flow through our economy, there is a new funding opportunity that should be on your radar. Eureka’s Circular Value Creation 2025 call is now open—and it is all about turning innovative, circular ideas into international innovation projects with strong market potential.
With a deadline on 30 September 2025, the call brings together funding bodies from 18 countries—Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, and Ukraine to support cross-border R&D projects that push circular thinking beyond recycling and waste management.
One key focus is on value retention: keeping materials, products, and resources in use for as long as possible through smart design, reuse, refurbishment, and digital innovation. There is also a strong emphasis on enabling technologies—whether it’s AI for process optimisation, digital product passports, or smart systems that support reuse and remanufacturing.
This isn’t just about tech
though. People are a core part of the equation. Eureka encourages applicants to show how their projects support skill-building, interdisciplinary teamwork, and collaboration between industry and research. If your concept combines forward-thinking tech with a human-centred strategy, you're on the right track.
So what does that mean in practice? Eureka is looking for collaborative projects that drive change across entire value chains. From the early stages of design and production, right through to usage, disassembly, and circular business models, successful proposals will take a holistic approach to closing loops and reducing waste.
To be eligible, project consortia must include at least two organisations from two different participating countries. This can include SMEs, large enterprises, research centres, or public organisations. The application process is handled centrally by EUREKA, but each partner is funded through their national funding agency—so in Spain, for example, support is available through CDTI, which offers funding covering up to 85% of eligible costs, including a generous non-repayable component.
Projects can run for up to three years and should aim to deliver commercially viable results within five years. Proposals will be evaluated not only on technical quality and innovation, but also on their potential market impact and alignment with national priorities.
