Ian works with our clients across Europe helping them to develop the highest quality concepts and identifying areas for innovation within complex market structures and across a wide range of technology sectors. In addition, Ian provides quality assurance of grant proposals across our business.

Associate

Ian has worked with the Nordic Innovators team from its inception, bringing over thirty years of experience in technology development, technology valorisation and technology transfer. In addition, he has over twenty years of experience in EU Framework Programme, winning his first funding back in FP4. Ian has helped universities, research and technology organisations and industrial companies, particularly SMEs, to win hundreds of millions of EUROs in grant funding from local, national, regional and international funding bodies. In addition to an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and a PhD in Cell Biology from UCL, he holds a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Management and specialises in identifying innovation opportunities for enterprises in a broad range of industry sectors through use of patent analytics.
